Trojena Ski Village

Project details:

Trojena Ski Village
Description : In the heart of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious NEOM project, Trojena is emerging as a high-altitude mountain destination unlike anything the region has seen. By engineering snow in the desert, Saudi Arabia isn’t just defying expectations; it’s engineering an entirely new experience for skiers, adventurers, and dreamers alike. Trojena is set to become the Kingdom’s first-ever ski resort, offering real slopes, artificial snow, and year-round alpine adventures.
Scope : Our scope of work included the design and supply of formwork for the foundations, retaining walls, and columns. The columns were constructed using the climbing “jumpform” system, chosen for its efficiency and safety at height. The formwork products supplied included SPF80 panels and soldiers with aluminium beams, providing a robust and reliable solution for the project. Each formwork element was preassembled off-site by the contractor, allowing for rapid installation and minimizing labour requirements. The system also ensured precise alignment and smooth finishes for all structural elements, contributing to the overall quality and speed of construction.
